Hmmm.. realize i have been blogging quite a lot these few days!! I wonder y?? It was a busy past one week... and i'm quite amazed that i took out some time to blog! lolz.. i supposed i realli a place to complain or juz a form of distraction! :)

SO once again.. i am back blogging!! feelin sianz!! Now at dearie's house but dearie is workin and jessie is out! i think with her frenz ba!??! then tigger seems to be missing... din see him the whole day! according to dearie, he said tigger din come home for a week liao! It is quite long lehz... got a feelin he might be gone for good le! toking about giving too much freedom sia!!

I juz painted my nails!! happy with my nails! painted double coating le... all thanks to Anika's "nagging"!! used The Face Shop's Tanning Skin nail polish!! i always paint one coat coz i feel like too many coats make my fingers feel heavy! Haha i think is juz in the mind ba coz i feel alright now! Sighz i feel i getting vain!! dunno y?? i guess is my surrounding i am and the job i have choosen! There is a constant need to groom myself and stay groom through out the whole training!! and this will 100% continue when start to fly officially!! the seniors can actually file a complaint if appearance don't meet up to standards! sweats... worried about my eye makeup!!! :/

Got my Cabin Bag liao!! got it from a store at People's Park Centre for onli 19 bucks! well it was supposed to be 19.90 bucks but the nice big sister sold to me at 19 bucks! is quite a cheapo bag.. can tell it will be HISTORY quite fast but nvm nvm! think by then i'm already flying officially liao! will get a better one then! I also manage to buy a polo t-shirt from This Fashion at 5 bucks onli! hehe.. plan to wear it for SEP training next week! kind of like the colour... white and baby blue! :)

HAHA when i say THANKS GOD IS FRIDAY... i realli mean thanks the Mightly Lord that the weekends are finally here!! i need a good rest to prepare for the next hurdle ahead.. SEP!!!

It had been a hectic one week of intense First aid training with series of practicals tests and today juz completed my theory paper!! Well... extremely happy to announce that i am officially a qualified First aider liao! YUP i passed my theory test!! it was a 50 questions paper and can onli deduct 10 marks from the total, if minus more than 10 minutes will be.. fail!! Scary sia! BUT batch 61 gers rox... all passed the paper and YES we are all first aiders! hehe..

after training, some of my batch gers n i went to EXPO for the LADIES' fair!! it was not realli a fruitful one! din get to see any nice clothes, no cosmetics, can't find a pleasing cabin bag... however the trip was not wasted! i manage to get a metalic blue colour cigarette holder with butterflies prints on it!! LOLZ... plz dun get me wrong! i'm not a smoker! plan to use the holder as a mini case to put my cards n $$$ when go out! hehe... i wonder will pple mistaken me as a smoker when they see carrying a cigaretter holder ard!!??? well i supposed YES!! BUT i am not!! conclusion: NEVER judge a book by its cover! (pls dun jumped into conclusions that i smoke becoz i carry a cigarette holder!!)

Next.. went jogging at TM stadium! happy happy... had the determination to run twice this week but at the rate i am eating, i dun think i will cutting down any weight! sobz sobz... i realli have to control my diet! *shakes head* after my run, meet up with wee for dinner! YUMMMY YUM YUM teppanyaki at TM, followed by bubble tea! Sighz now noe y i can't slim down??!!!!

This first week of SEP at STC been a realli stressful one!! It was all on First aid practicals! I am juz sooo glad is all over and i have passed all e practical tests!! Actually thinkin back... first aid was not that hard afterall but perhaps under stress, everything seems so difficult!! Well one thing i have to say... one-man CPR is no joking matter!!! my left hand is still sore and bruised due to thoese chest compressions cycles!

THANKS the lord for all of his blessing through this whole week!! Praise the lord... he answered my prayers and supported me through all the ups and downs... gave me a calm mind when the going gets tough!! Hope HE will continue to bless me for tml's theory paper!! praying...

21 September will always be a part of me!! wat an unforgettable flight!! I never dare to think of sitting right in an aircraft cockpit.. seeing the pilots driving high high in da sky! And juz ytday... i saw the sky with my very own eyes!! I have onli one thing to say... The sky from the passenger seat window is nothing compared to the view from the cockpit! Ah i shd not be a cabin crew but a pilot! LOLZ...

Thanks to the two pilots on board MI212 flight to Solo (Indonesia), Captain Norman and First officer Dave! LOLz... it was very nice so them to let my batch gers n i to be seated at the cockpit for landing and take-off!! Sighz i was supposed to do the take off from Solo but in da end i did the landin at singapore! at first i felt like crestfallen coz i always wanted to see a take-off from inside the aircraft however e First officer Dave told me n joann that landing is the best part of the whole flight! Hmmm i guess i will never noe coz i never sat for take-off and i doubt i will have the chance to! sighz... nevertheless, i feel so LUCKY to juz experience a short 10 - 15 min in the cockpit of a aircraft high up in the sky!!!

21 sep's sky is very blue and partly cloudy!! The clouds are realli kawaii!! Haha they look like big big bunch of cottom balls sticked together!! The first officer dave showed joann n i a red colour zone at the screen and said it was a place we die die cannot go there! if not.. there will be turbulence!! then he started to do the turbulence shakin actions! LOLz... i kind of went HUH! a few seconds later, captain Norman pointed at the a HUGE white cloud at the right side of the plane and said that the red zone was that cloud and they had to make a detour ard it coz it was too thick for them to fly thru! WOW... i could not believe my eyes! that particular looks like a giant compared to the aircraft... hmm it looks like white colour candy floss!! lolz...

The landin was COOL! the landin at singapore was a smooth one and i realli give thumb ups to the 2 heros who brought me and my batch gers back safely home!! LOlz.. oh did i mention that both of them are young and good-looking!??!! HAHA... they are but hands off!! i supposed they are taken liao ba... well... who knows right?!! evil luff...

Thanks to all the seniors on board!! they are realli nice... they tried to asnwer our questions at the galley even though they were busy!! Lookin at them.. i can see myself doing that very very soon in the future!! it is the job that i choose to do... and i intend to do it well!! hope my stay in silkair would be an enriching and fruitful one!!

Well ytday's familiarization flight will stay in my head for a long long time to come.. i juz hope my all my flights in Silkair will be unforgettable one... cheers!!

HAHA... i received superstar treatment!!! Thanks to my batch gers who helped and taught me how to do my eyeshadow makeup and styling of my hair! In the morning, Cherrie and Rafeefa asked how did my eye blendin went! i felt is it was disaster which was toooo true!! Rafeefa helped me apply the first time! i looked much better!! then later after lunch, i tried to do the touchin up by myself! sighz... disaster struck again! i got the colours all messed up! sobz... in da end juriah sweetie called me over and taught me the right way!! think denise got bored.. she started to play and style my hair! sweats... Imgaine... one ger doing my makeup and another styling my hair!! i feel so pampered sia!!! the other gers kept shouting "superstar!!! superstar!!" wow... so paiseh!

Thanks Juriah sweetie!!! You realli are a pro with makeup!!!

After what some of the gers taught me... i realized i did lots of mistakes when it came to eye makeup!!

Mistake 1:
I used too many colours on my eye that everything looks like in a big mess!

Mistake 2:
I shd not follow how some of e malay gers in my batch makeup!! their eyes are very diff from chinese gers as naturally malay gers have intense eyes in comparsion to chinese gers!! hence chinese gers have another kind of eye makeup!! now then i noe... sweats!!!

Mistake 3:
colour choice is wrong!!! i choose the shades too close to one another tat there isn't a distinctive shade diff between the same colour!!! sighz...

Mistake 4:
i shd draw my whole eyelid with e eyelinder and not half! Drawin the whole eyes makes the eyes look more intense and stands out!

Well... since i noe my mistakes... i must practice practice practice!!! hopefully practice makes perfect!!! I wun give up... i wanna be MEI MEI!

Okie dorkie le... enough about makeup!! AH AH... finally tml will be batch 61's familiarization flight to Solo! i can't wait... ah cockpit here i come!! excited!! the drama scenes from the japanese drama GOOD LUCK kept flashin pass my mind! haha... the pilots going for take-off... how the sky looks like as the plane goes higher n higher n higher into the sky... above the tallest buildings in the da world! Wow.... *eyes twinkling* this will surely be an experience i can nv forget! BUT tonight have to zzz early! have to report to e cabin briefing room before 5.55 am but the trainer wants us to reach there at 5.30 am! Sighz super early... nvm nvm!!! no one says being a CA is an easy job...

after the flight, will be collecting the MI uniform, cabin handbag and Shoes!! hopefully the uniform do not need alteration!! sighz... i have to order size 36 coz of my boobs! size 35 everything is okie except that my boobs area looks tight... hence my trainer said i have to take 36!! however size 36... the arm, waist and hip area very looose! Well... the seniors did say the new batch of uniform is slightly smaller than the old batches which i tried, so hoping tml when collect the new batch of uniform, i do not need alterations!! praying hard dun need... :p dun wan waste $$ liao le...

Next week will be e start of 3 weeks of SEP!! Getting worried coz have to pass all the sep tests to be able to fly... Guess i won't be going out during the 3 weeks of sep! I must pass sep... ganbatte ne...

As the tests roll in... stress level is increasing!!! I'm never realli a person who will crack under pressure but this time, i am realli feelin the tension! feeling so exhausted... so jumpy these few days!!! Though my tests results had been satisfying, i have this contant pressure to perform well!! am i giving myself too much stress??

Test #1 (Silkair Admin & OP and Airline Doc) = 23/25
Test #2 (Aircraft Features and Galley & Equipments) = 19/19
Test #3 (Food & Beverages and Drystore & Amenities) = 24/25

Good results?? i'm realli happy with my marks but now... sighz... i have to push myself to maintain my own expectations! I am getting tired... i even skipped church on sunday!! i realli feel gulity...

Well tests aside... let's talk about makeup!! i think my makeup sucks!! my eyeshadow blendin is realli messy!!! i juz can't get hold of the technique though some of the batch gers taught me!! i feel so ugly now! maybe i am the worst ger in the whole batch 61 when it comes to makeup! sighz... anika sweetie will help give me one-to-one blendin lesson tml! i'm juz hoping and prayin that i will master the technique soon!!! :/

i guess the onli happi thing that will keep a faint smile on my face is my familiarization flight this coming thurs!! is either to solo or balikpapan!!! kinda of excited as this will be the first time i'm setting foot on a MI aircraft and better still, i have the chance to be at the cockpit during the take-off at the ex-sector! i am sooooo excited.... the tot of actually sitting in the cockpit with the pilot and 1st officer and seeing the plane take-off with my very own eyes is juz like a dream come true!! Praise the Lord for this experience... once again HE answered my prayers despite my selfish actions of not attending church! i am a sinner but yet HE still loves me... i feel so blessed!

Sighz... in serious need of rest!! Desperately needin some quality of zzz! Realli need the blessing of GOD for good health and focus to perform well at training!! Tests are all rollin in!!! SEP coming very soon!! I MUST STAY FOCUS!!! :/

Sighz... Having a serious series of headache attacks since the second week of training!! And to make matters worse, i am having block nose these few days! i have to breathe thru my mouth and my chest is getting to hurt!!! i juz wanna be well!!

there had been this virus buggie thing going round the class and i realli hope that buggie will stay away from me! i dun want to be sick... i'm planning to keep a clear record of MC free!!! GOD please grant my wish...

"I would not glamourized the job as a cabin crew..." this was what i said during the JAL first interview and realli... HANDS UP IN TOTAL AGREEMENT! now that i realli been through the part of the training, i realli have to say is HARD HARD work!! so many things to remember! Lots of pple felt that being a FSS is being popular, pretty and living the high kind of lifestyle! On the front cover... Yeah is true! Behind the scenes... it is all pure BULLSHIT!! i realli getting sick of waking up 6.15 am in the da morning to perfect my hair and makeup but no choice! This is the route i had chose 4 myself and i intend to go all the way with it! Well with some complaints there n here! hehe... Juz bear with me my rattlin... nagging... blah blah...

Juz finished my english annoucements training today!! took the gradin test! SIGHZ... i do not expect an A grade for i think i sux at doing the announcements! I completely blew it at the emergency announcements! i tripped over my words and my tone sounded more like doing a WELCOME announcements!! well.. i realli realli hope for a B grade! Plz dun give me a C grade!!

from tml onwards, most of the training would be STC! Some of my batch gers dun realli like that place but i find it okie!! maybe they feel kinda of out of place coz is like a SIA terrority of some sort but dun care... silkair is part of SIA anyway!! LOLZ... kind of lookinr forward to SEP training! can't wait to jump of the stimulator plane into the 4 metres deep swimming pool!! it was the most enjoyable round during the interviews!! Haha... i not realli a good swimmer but i love the water!! SO thanks goodness that life jacket is provided... :p

Well well... i better stop my rattling there and get back to my training manuel! Have a test tml!! self declared break time coz my head is spinning like hell after readin thru 40 pages of the Silkair admin n Op booklet!! Wish me goodie luck for the tests to come okie??!! thanks...

Yes i am finally back with an entry! back due to populare demand!!! Juz for suli and wee wee... LOlz...

BATCH 61

i had been so busy these few days with the training, accepting changes in my life and HAIR, making new frenz etc etc!! Suddenly feel there is little time and so much things to be done!!! Suddenly 24 hours a day seems not enough!!!

One week of training was realli en eye-opener for me!! Finally met my batch gers... met the trainer... and juz starting a new life with Silkair! :) I simply love my batch gers... Batch 61 Rox big time!! everyone was in such high spirits and it juz kept going throughout the whole 1st week of training!! it had been the wonders of the LORD!! :)

So far... undergone grooming class and some lectures on silkair policy and cultures! I was a little taken back by airline culture on the first day but i'm alright now! We were told as juniors... everytime we see a senior, we have to greet them by saying, "Good morn/afternoon, my name is _____ from batch____! Nice to meet u!" at first find it kind of weird to do this but soon grew used!! Now it juz comes naturally!! Some seniors are realli sweet!! They actually come up to us to say hello instead! So paiseh!!! However, there is always a bad side to everything!! Some seniors are kind of cold... they din wan to shake hands and gave us the face! Sighz... i juz hope i will get along with everyone when i officially start flying! Praying...

Tink one big change in me has to be my HAIR!! I had my hair cut... and it is SOOOO short now! I kind of look like a little boy boy!! Can u believe it???!!! Vicky, one of the groomers, commented tat my hair is limp, oily and fine to keep long hair!!! And it would be kind of tedious for me if i would like to keep the hair as long hair is always harder to maintain!! Well, i not too particular about hairstyles hence i let the silkair stylist and Vicky decide the hair style for me!! PUFF... with lots of snappin of the scissors.. i now a BOY! :p

Honestly, i'm pretty happy with my hair coz is light and easy to style!!! But i have lots of shockin reactions from frenz tat saw me with my new style! Perhaps it is a REALLY big change! I supposed they still prefer me with my long hair! well i did have long hair for 5 years plus... LOLZ! Nway i would be leaving my hair long and hopefully by the end of my probation, i can tie my hair up to a ponytail! :)

Went out with wee n von on sat!!! had lots of fun... and finally we had our long awaited and much tok about tony roma meal! Yummy yummy... think the ocean feast and app sampler was totally delicious and so damn filling! LOLz...
